At TrulyMadly, Divyanshu is the sole engineer behind Maira, TrulyMadly’s AI matchmaker, which chats in English and Hinglish and introduces real people who fit. Maira grew into TrulyMadly’s standalone AI companion app, which Divyanshu architected, including its memory, check-ins and real-time voice calls. Divyanshu also builds scoring systems for TrulyMadly’s match recommendations and built its AI support automation.

Maira, TrulyMadly’s AI matchmaker
Sole engineer. Rebuilt how Maira reads requests: it now understands 96 in 100 correctly, up from 77, at a fifth of the old cost.
Memory, check-ins and voice calls
Architected the Maira companion app: characters that remember people (3 in 4 personal details picked up, up from 1 in 5), check-ins that more than 7 in 10 people answered, and calls you can interrupt.
Match recommendations
Built several of the scoring systems that decide whose profile people see next, including a model whose top 1% of picks are 7× likelier than average to subscribe.
Support automation
Built an AI support agent that handles a ticket for about a seventh of the old cost and replies three times faster.

Outside work
Outside work, Divyanshu loves movies (Interstellar, the Dark Knight trilogy, Hachi: A Dog’s Tale) and series (Dark, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad), plays games on Steam (most of all The Witcher 3), never misses a Formula 1 race as a Lewis Hamilton fan, and listens to a lot of music, from Fred again.., Travis Scott and Drake to Seedhe Maut.
